What to Expect During Your Treatment
Consultation
Your practitioner will assess your skin, discuss your concerns, review your medical history, and design a personalised treatment plan including whether bespoke serums or exosomes are most appropriate.
Treatment Process
- Skin is cleansed thoroughly
- Numbing cream is applied for comfort
- Microneedling is performed using a medical-grade device
- Selected serums or exosomes are applied during and after needling
A face-to-face consultation is required to assess suitability and tailor the treatment to your skin.
Pre-Treatment Care
To ensure optimal results, please:
• Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before treatment
• Avoid ibuprofen/aspirin if possible (unless prescribed)
• Arrive with clean skin (no makeup)
• Avoid treatment if you have an active cold sore (discuss with your practitioner)
• Inform your practitioner of all medications and recent treatments
• Avoid retinoids and active skincare for 3–5 days before treatment
• Not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding
Post-Treatment Care
First 24–48 hours:
• Expect redness similar to mild sunburn
• Avoid makeup for 24 hours
• Avoid strenuous exercise
• Avoid saunas, steam rooms, and heat
• Avoid sun exposure and apply SPF
Following 7 days:
• Avoid exfoliants and active skincare
• Use gentle, hydrating products only
Plan
Treatment Course
The number of microneedling sessions required varies depending on your skin concerns and goals. Many clients benefit from an initial course of 3 sessions, spaced 4–6 weeks apart. More advanced concerns, such as deep acne scarring or significant texture changes, may require additional sessions or a combination of treatments, including polynucleotides or skin boosters.
Results develop gradually and vary between individuals. Deep scarring may not fully resolve, and realistic expectations will be discussed during your consultation.
